The high cost of living was one of the themes of the election. Thought more about it this morning in Bologna when 2 Cappuccinos, 2 decaf Cappuccinos and two fab pastries cost €8.20.

The equivalent in Dublin would be close to €20. Bologna is a wealthy city in one of the wealthiest regions in Italy.
